The American Cultural Center Director Mr. Robert J. Tate given US branded material to participants after Zinder Presentation
American Corners Trip (August 11-15, 2009)
The Public Diplomacy team conducted an outreach tour to highlight how the visits of President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton underscore the importance of the U.S. relationship with Africa, giving presentations and discussions at American Corners in Maradi and Zinder, holding open air film showings, donating books, U.S.A. branded T shirts, bags, and notebooks, and making courtesy calls with local officials.
