Temporary Closure of Embassy Niamey's Consular Section
The Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Niamey will be closed on August 15, 18, and 19, 2008. All consular operations for visas to the United States and American citizen services will be suspended on these days.
Normal consular operations for visas to the United States and American citizen services will resume on August 20, 2008.
American citizens experiencing emergencies between August 15 and August 19 should please call (Country Code 227) 20-72-31-41 and ask to speak to the Duty Officer.
