Services
The Commercial Service's office at the U.S. Embassy is staffed by the State Department and provides information regarding U.S. commercial relations in the Africa, which is available from the U.S.Department of Commerce Africa page.
The Commercial Service exists in order to assist U.S. exporters and investors in international markets. For example, our office can provide U.S. business visitors with counseling, translation services, and direct introductions to key decision makers, with background checks on local companies of interest to potential U.S. investors or joint venture partners, and other useful vehicles.
