Issa Beri Demonstration
Students at Lycee Issa Beri may begin demonstrating at the school at any moment.
The demonstration may become violent and American citizens are urged to avoid the area around the school on the Tillabery Road - to include the intersection of the Tillabery Road and Rue Maurice Delens.
American citizens may contact the Consular Section of the US Embassy in Niamey for more information. The Consular Section, located on the Rue des Ambassades in Niamey, is open Monday through Thursday from 8am to 5:30pm, and on Fridays from 8am to 1pm.
